Breaking Bad

Hello, and welcome back to Kay-tvtalk! Today the show i chose to talk about is called Breaking Bad. The main character in this show's name is Walter White, he is a chemistry teacher at a local high school. He has a wife who is pregnant named Skylar, and a teenage son who has cerebral palsy. Financially, Walter is not able to provide the best for his family with his teaching salary, and in the midst of these issues, he is diagnosed with terminal cancer and does not have much more time to live. Depressed and desperate Walter makes a decision that will change his family's life forever. He finds a fellow partner (Jesse) and decides to turn an old RV into a meth lab, using his knowledge in chemistry to make the purest meth the world has ever seen. Although, his intentions were pure with his only goal being to secure his family financially for the rest of their lives, the world showed no mercy. He quickly finds himself in a complicated, dangerous, destructive lifestyle and burning bridges that could never be mended; he is forced to learn what it means to live a life surrounded around drugs. I love this show and I honestly began this series thinking that i wasn't going to like this show at all. It has a really slow start, but i kept watching until about episode 6 season 1, then i found myself falling in love with it and staying up all night binge watching the series. This show has an incredible amount of detail, literally everything that happens in this show happens for a reason, so you have to pay attention. However, all of the details are what make this show amazing, its very realistic and it definitely shows his struggles while trying to enter the drug world. You will get so invested with these characters you won't want the show to end, unfortunately, this is an older show so there aren't going to be any new seasons. Breaking Bad reruns still play on channels such as AMC, FX, and all of the seasons are on Netflix. If you have a Netflix you can binge watch this show like i did, or just watch it when you have time, either way i promise you won't be disappointed. Breaking Bad is a show to remember, the life of crime in this show really captivates you.
